I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE MANAGEMENT OF BUDGET CAR HIRE HONOLULU, I HAVE LEFT THIS AS A LAST RESORT IN HOPE OF GETTING MY COMPLAINT LOOK AFTER IT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT REIMBURSED ME THE MONEY THEY OWE ME!!!
I HAVE GONE INTO THE OFFICE THE OFFICE SPOKE TO THE MANAGER TANYA AND SHE ASSURED ME THE MONEY WILL BE IN MY ACCOUNT THE NEXT DAY, I WENT IN A FEW DAYS LATER BEFORE WE FLEW OUT TO BE TOLD IT CAN TAKE UPTO A MONTH.
I HAVE TRIED TO CALL AND CANT LEAVE A MESSAGE THE MESSAGE BANK IS FULL, I HAVE EMAIL AND NO RESPONSE.
I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS IS FAR FROM IT, YOU CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND FEEL I HAVE BEEN LET DOWN,
IT WAS ONE DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER ANOTHER AND THIS IS THE ICING OFF THE CAKE.
IF SOMEONE FROM MANAGEMENT CAN PLEASE CONTACT ME TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, OUT OF CURTSY TO YOU I HAVE NOT LISTED ALL THE ISSUES ON THIS REVIEW

Stayed in Waikiki and car pick up and drop off super easy and conveniently located. GPS was a lifesaver as getting around Honolulu freeways extremely challenging. Office staff very helpful and friendly as was phone support when we had questions. Absolutely recommend for car hire.

Easy pickup and easy return. Got a 2016 mustang gt for the same price i rented a fiat at enterprise. Professional service, clean car. 10/10

I rented Chevrolet Camaro. The car was clean and staff is really friendly and helpful.
However, One thing I can't believe is, I purchased full tank service, but it's filled just half of it. It's my bad, but I had to check the fuel gauge before leave their parking lot.
Totally, I can surly recommend this company but carefully check all of things.

As others have said, the staff are very helpful and friendly. However they seemed a bit angry when I opted out of the $26.99 a day insurance in favor of credit card coverage.
It is a bit of a confusing and unwelcoming set up though. The office is on the second floor, but to get to the car you need to take the escalators to the first floor then a creepy staircase to the basement followed by painted lines that direct you to a dimly lit area where you finally find staff that can help you.
