This place has great access to shopping,diners,beach, bus stops,grocery etc. Very big and comfortable suite(talking about jr. Suite). Kitchen appliances include toaster ,blender ,rice cooker..pots pans..etc so you can cook quite some things if you have a long stay. The aroma cafe downstairs is good for quick bites or breakfast. However the only big expense is the amenity fee ($15) and parking fee($28) which is charged daily...

For a 60 year old building, the Ilikai is holding up well. The rooms are pretty standard concrete boxes with a couple of upgrades but what can you really do in such a small space? The reason for 3 stars is the repairs on the escalator and the main pool were inconvenient. Otherwise a very pleasant stay in a good location that is a 3 minute walk from the beach.

Amazing location! Highly recommend! I know what you're thinking, why should you trust some random Joe on Google. Well, it's because I can appreciate a good thing! Anyways, I rented a condo at this hotel and I was very pleased! Hotel staff is amazing. There are 2 pools, one which is more of a lounge pool that worked great for my 3 year old. It's very clean! Live music in the courtyard was nice! And the views were amazing!

Exceeded my expectations. Booked a room with an ocean view for two nights. The view was amazing. The balcony was spacious and comfortable. Loved having the full kitchen available to us. Neat and clean. The nearby lagoon and restaurants suited our needs perfectly as we were traveling with kids. We felt safe with the kids playing in the lagoon.... Lots of fun beach rentals available. Great walking paths close to the hotel for shopping and dinner. Perfect vacation and Hawaii vibe.
