Just tried to check-in for our honeymoon. We were supposed to stay here one night. Called earlier this week and everything was good to go. Came in after traveling over 10 Hours and they neglected to tell us earlier in the day that our room had been damaged. Really? You guys couldn’t have called us to tell us before we got there? Thankfully the other hotel was able to help us. Re-evaluate how you contact your guest. Super unprofessional.

This hotel is severely outdated. There is no elevator to access the upper floors, and our room unclean. I had to clean the shower before I used it because there was black dirt on the floor of the shower. There was also an issue with the shower head as it kept leaking spraying water upwards when used and started soaking the roof. Would not come here again -you get what you paid for.

Uh, well... It's okay. Tiny shower, a toilet that screamed like a dying bunny when it was flushed and not that impressive. It was a good place to hang out and use as home base. It was clean and the location was pretty good.

As far as functionality goes the rooms are great, comfortable beds and pillows free dvd and game rental downstairs for the ps3 in your room and decent set up. The ac seemed a bit tired at times but otherwise. It's also in a great location to walk, explore and enjoy the city life! My only complaint would be a staff member knocking twice and entering the room before we could answer to inquire about when we were vacating the premises though checkout was still over an hour away. Very awkward and uncomfortable for my husband and I but I understand why they do it.

Went with 2 young children on November 2016. Loved this place. Have read rooms are a bit outdated & maintenance could use improvement, but honestly I've never stayed in a reasonably priced hotel in Honolulu where I wouldn't say the same. The rooms with kitchenettes have everything you need, hotel atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Staff was exceptional. Friendly, helpful, everyday people happy to have you there. The grounds are beautiful but simple & small. I always found common areas clean & often saw staff attending to the areas. Great location, close to everything but not in the middle of congestion. Will stay here every visit if possible!
