I love GV Hawaii. This is a really good English language school. Teachers and staff are very friendly and very kind. They are like "Ohana"(means family in Hawaiian language). I wanted to speak English fluently. I made a best choice to study at GV Hawaii. GV has a very strict English only policy. At first it was not easy to speak English all the time but because of this policy, my English skill improved rapidly. Also I was staying at Kapiolani residence and it was good for me. There were students from other countries at the residence and I had to speak in English to communication with them. This was also a good experience for me to get to know different cultures while practicing my English. In addition, staying at the residence was easier for me to make new friends too. I am very happy with this school. I gained a confidence in myself through studying English at GV and at the same time I made a lot of friends from all over the world! Thank you very much ! I strongly recommend GV if you want to improve your English!

I have been a neighbor of the Kapiolani Residence for 4 years now. GVH has failed to monitor the late night noise levels of its students for years. This student housing seems to promote the college party lifestyle by allowing its students to drink and make loud noise throughout the night without thought of their neighbors or any sort of consequence. The tenants are only here for a few months at a time so they can care less about the noise they make, they will never be back. The property owners could care less because for an apartment they would be only getting $1,800 for per month, they are getting upwards of $3,000 per month if not more. It probably is a good school to go to but its obviously not teaching etiquette in its curriculum. This riff raff needs to stop.

I've been to 4 language school until now, this is the only course I canceled during my stay! Almost all "teachers" are just native english speakers and just read the grammar- and textbooks line per line. Furthermore, almost all students come from the german part of switzerland, so you don't use english in your free time! I strongly recommend to stay away from this school if you want to improve your english!
