Sorry this is my first time to do a review. As314 I wanted to say that I agree with your statement that God doesn't care about our money. Salvation the bestI can tell is based on one believing in the name of Jesus Christ, repenting of sins before God and changing the direction of his, or, her life from a godless life to one oriented toward God. Thanks for that comment. have probably been there more times than I have because you seem to have had many experiences. You know I too have heard that there are many Doctors that attend there. I guess my take on that is, if it is true, that that is cool. It cool because they are learned people and many say that the Christian Faith is for mentally dependent people. In the times I have been to Lake Valley Church I have found them to be a people who care for people. They, as you pointed out, certainly have some areas that need to be improved. But, I guess that is true of any place and is certainly true of me. So, keep visiting and giving us your honest opinion. Not all of us will agree, but that's because we are imperfect people. Again, thanks for the review.

Just gonna throw it all out there. Your church has a reputation in the community. Before you get excited about that you should know it's not a good one at all. Wanted to try you guys out when we moved here so we did. Snobs. Rich stuck up snobs. It's really sad because you have the potential to be like an amazing outreach church, especially with your house churches. The house churches are just as bad if not worse. I'm sorry but when we think of church we think of learning, growing and accountability to be able to grow and better ourselves. Not here. It's gotten the reputation of hey let's go check in with the family when its convenient but right after church let's head to to the racetrack gamble and throw back a few!! One of the house church groups we wanted to visit went to the track on a Sunday for gambling brunch and liquor! Seriously?!?!? Do you not get it? This is not what the church is called to be. I wish I was joking when I say you have a reputation. The joke around Hot Springs is " oh that's the rich people church where they're go and live how they want, only attend in the winter or "non house boat season" drink, talk horribly, don't hold their children accountable, treat people outside of their church lower than human beings but it's ok because no matter what we do Pastor Drue will make us look like a saint at our funerals!! That's why you're known as the check in church. You guys need to wake up! Times running out! Just because your name is on a membership book and your checkbook has your church name written on the pay to line doesn't mean you're a Christian or you'll get to heaven. You're money is no good with God when it comes to your salvation. I have known too many people who aren't welcomed at your church because they don't fit into the mold and that is not what the church is about. We won't be back.
