The food here was well above average, but just short of 5 stars. Everyone seemed very happy with their meal, our server was very nice, and the service was quick enough. I had a burger and some mac n' cheese, and both were very good. The burger was entirely too tall to fit in my mouth, but I eventually figured it out and it was tasty.

Used to be wonderful. Menu changed about a month ago. Very disappointing. Sub par burger (when I'm not asked how I want it cooked, I'm not impressed. Obviously frozen patties), fried calamari had a sauce with it that would take stains off pavement, and side salad was 7 bucks for some specialty lettuce and honey mustard dressing. So sad to see this place go. Beer selection is still decent though.

BRC does everything right. All the food is really well done. They pay attention to the details as well, I don't know if the all the sauces are made in house but they are a step above standard restaurant grade.
They sell the bacon jam on by the pint. Well worth it.

BRC has been a favorite for me and my family for some time. We love all the different menu options, and for a bunch with varied tastes, its easy to find something to please everyone. Cheddar biscuits and bacon jam are a must, as are the deviled eggs topped with a fried oyster and maple-candied bacon. For brunch, its hard to pass up the beef belly & bacon grilled cheese, with cheddar, tomato, and a fried egg. Dinner favorite is the braised & grilled beef belly with buttered grits, mushrooms, and that bacon jam. I still miss that Friday gumbo special they used to have, though (FYI, a similar gumbo is still available over at their sister place, Liberty Kitchen!).
