The atmosphere was interesting with a sort of modern Beach house feel to it with a fancy yet country club sort of casualness to it.
The service was friendly and attentive.
For starters we had the tomato bisque soup which was different than others I've tried but still good. The seafood gumbo was well liked also.
I tried the duck with the semolina pudding, mushrooms and a blood orange sauce as my entree.
The duck was a bit too gamey for me and could have paired well with something fresh and/or acidic on the plate and I could have done without the semolina pudding which didn't really seem to fit in on the plate.
My companion chose the Mahi dish with the fresh spring vegetables. The Mahi was well cooked but was plated in a bowl of sauce that we found unappealing and too excessive.
Overall the taste didn't exactly exceed expectations that were derived from the prices on the menu.

Went for lunch and the menu is smaller than dinner but really enjoyed the fried cauliflower and gumbo! Will go back.

Smoked Lavender Duck with crispy semolina was absolutely wonderful! The service was also fantastic - very attentive and sincere. The decor is clean and inviting. I will definitely be back.

Service was great but food was only ok. Octopus was a little chewy and the gumbo was a bit dark for my liking.

The food is AMAZING!! It is a completely different restaurant. I am told that Google will not change the listing information. It is now called The Durham House. The building has been renovated. New Chef, who does an amazing job!!! Go to The Durham House website for info!
