It’s okay. I just wished you had a bit more privacy while taking a test. In addition to that, the people that work there are such sticklers, it’s annoying! They need to relax and enjoy life more!

The staff exudes more hostility than the inmates of the Harris County Jail. I understand that the University wants to reduce the students ability to cheat, but it is accomplished at the expense of the students quality of education.
Half of the staff can barely speak English, and the workers at the check in counter act as though it is inconvenient for them to do their job.
The biggest problem with CASA is the fact that you aren't even guaranteed an opportunity to take your exam. The facility has very limited seating for the amount of classes that administer tests through it. In most people's experiences, the testing spots fill up within 3 hours of registration opening, and the professors' only advice is "keep trying". The professors are too lazy to administer an exam themselves, plus UH gets to tack on another fee for a service that isn't necessary.
Why would any University use a system that doesn't guarantee you the chance to take your exam? And what kind of University would administer exams in a hostile environment? The answer is a University that doesn't care about its students. All UH cares about is money. Case and point, this new campaign they are shoving down everyone's throat, and the fact that they took 300 parking spaces to build a practice football stadium.
Pretty soon you will have to change into an orange jumpsuit and ankle shackles before you are allowed to begin your extensively supervised exam.
If you have any sort of learning disability, you should run to the CSD as fast as you can and request accommodations, because you will not be able to focus at all with all of the proctors staring daggers at you as they stand right behind you.
TLDR: Might as well be an internment camp.

CASA is not as bad as everyone says it is. You go there to take tests and get out and it does it's job in that sense. The environment is awful because it's supposed to be all quiet all the time but it serves the purpose it was made for. They also offer tutoring right next door so thats a definite plus for the testing center.
