Delicious brisket! Went to one BBQ place when in Houston for the weekend and numerous people said that this is one of the top places to try. Did not disappoint!! Sides were great, and portions were just right to fill you. Prices could be a couple dollars less, as it was $17+ for a one meat plate with 2 sides. That would be the only thing keeping me from coming back.

It's not the absolute most delicious meal I've ever had (especially because it was cold), but it was good enough. On the plus side, the service was very nice and the place has outdoors tables. I would treat it as a good place to have a beer and hang out, and then if you get hungry, the big portion of meats should satisfy that just fine.

Daily special was BBQ chicken sandwich and it was juicy and delicious. The sauce was just right, not too spicy or hot. Jalapeno bread was very good and made the sandwich even better.

Today is Monday 9/25/17. Ordered the brisket and sausage plate with potato salad and cole slaw. This food is total garbage! Please don't waste your money here. The sausage smells like it has liquid smoke on it and has bits of bone and cartilage that I had to spit out. The brisket is chewy and the BBQ sauce taste like tomato sauce. The sides were both room temperature and they gave me about 5 sliced pickles. All for $18. What a disappointment. The best part of going here is the peace of mind knowing that I will never again eat Good Company's garbage BBQ.

There are not enough superlatives to use in describing Goode Company Barbeque. Rustic Texas atmosphere, ice cold beer, beef brisket, sausage, chicken, turkey all done to perfection. And top it off with the best Pecan Pie in Houston. You will only regret how much you ate.
