JW Marriott Houston Downtown

After a long day of travel and work, ending the evening at Houston's JW Marriott was a true pleasure. The staff greeted us with an inviting warmth and even though the bar was closing in just a few moments, still allowed us to have a last call serving and relax in the lounge. The bar staff (even the janitor who was cleaning around us) all had an inspiring attitude despite the late hour of our arrival. This was a situation that could have been easily turned away as an inconvenience to the mgmt and staff, but it was handled instead with the up most respect and hospitality. Certainly restored my faith in the business of service to others. Will return again!!

Great location in the middle of downtown. Right on main street next to the tram systems. Rooms and decorations are wonderful. Bed is almost too soft. Use the in room iPad to request a firm pillow, the service by all the staff is excellent.

I really enjoyed my time at the JW Marriott. The rooms were modern, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Room service was timely and courteous. I look forward to my next stay here!

Not worth the price I paid for...the view on my room was horrible when I specifically asked them for a room with a nice view...it was complicated to find a parking spot since they are not affiliated with any parking lot. The staff was decent not the best or the worst.

SO where do I start this was such an amazing experience first they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Then everyone was so friendly and just gave us A1 service. The room was clean and I am super picky there was no dust or stains on anything the room also did not have a funny smell it was fresh and inviting. The bed was so comfortable I was very surprised and the sheets were amazing the bed spread was really white. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and had amazing experiences at both the food was so fresh and we did not wait long at all for our meals. During lunch we were greeted by Andrew I believe he was a manager who talked to us making sure we were being taken care of and he also gave us a list of things to do. He even printed out a map and gave us complimentary tickets to a few things. He was very informative and he had such a warm spirit it was a pleasure to had met him. Also our server Christian was amazing he was very attentive to our needs and provided spot on service. Valet was also amazing and friendly. There is not one bad thing I can say about this place other than that I only could stay for 2 nights before it was time for me to go. I will be back and I will not stay anywhere else!!! Job Well done to the management and staff of this hotel you are defining the standard!!! I literally was almost done with Marriott but yall are bringing the brand back to the way I remember it.
