Dr. Newby is a skilled dentist, whose interest is providing high quality dentistry at minimal cost and intrusion, rather than "selling more dentistry". I came to him 25 years ago when my previous dentist had mapped out every dollar I'd earn for the next several years...rip out all these old fillings, crown these four teeth, etc. Dr. Newby carefully looked around, said "every thing looks stable, good to go", and I've had two fillings replaced in those 25 years. I once cracked a molar, and he said "sometimes they heal themselves....chew on the other side and give it a chance. It DID heal itself! He could have ripped it out and sold me an implant, but he enabled me to let it heal, saving me time, money and discomfort instead. That was ten years ago. Waiting room time is about two minutes. I don't bother to pick up the magazines...I never get more than a couple of sentences read before I'm called back. I can not say enough good things about him...
