It seemed like they like to prescribe narco to control pain more than using other methods. I never had a plan explained to me .how I would have my pain controlled. I had to suggest radio frequency ablation which when done gave me a bad cramp . I still have have that cramp 10 months later . I was told I got it because my core too weak. I told him it hurt my knee to walk and was told to suck it up. I went to orthopedist and was told not to do the long walks that I have a baker cyst and torn meniscus and needed pt.
I am giving 3 stars only because at first he did do needling, etc. . Then it completely stopped for 11 months. Only told how I should use the narco 3x a day. I stopped taking it. I would rather not get addicted to it.

Hey everybody my name is ROGER & I'm a Cancer patient, I had stage 3 brain Cancer I went to Birmingham for surgery.. I'm so thankful for surviving although wen I left the hospital I had 89 staples n my head, but I was still pretty.lol
I have to go to CCI every 6mths for MRI bcuz I have 2 brain tumors on the main muscle of my left eye which my Cancer doc told me I will go blind in that eye eventually, since surgery I'm on Disability since I was 30yrs old can't drive bcuz I'm also a seizure patient but my memory is so bad I'm so embarrassed by it.
I try to live my life bcuz of my kids which I wld die for them, I go to Dr. Thacker every month bcuz I have chronic pain for over 12-15yrs..
With my brain tumors, 3 herniated disc n my neck, 3 bulging disc & degenerate disc disease n my back... Dr. Thacker to me is awesome!, we're r still working on the rite pain medication rite now but trust me I've been to enough pain docs but all they care about is money... I'm relieved thou that Dr. Thacker is getting better after his surgery bcuz no matter what all these negative patients say he's one HELL of a Doctor Who really cares about his patients, the nurses who cares if they talk about other patients they have every rite to it's not against the law that they Gossip...
So no matter what I'm very proud & THANKFUL for Dr. Thacker...

Dr. Thacker approached my pain problem with an innovative, individualized treatment plan based on an accurate diagnosis. He was compassionate, persistent, and effective.

Seems all these reviews praise Dr. T for the help he has given to them. Is there anyone that has had a bad experience with him? I'm at my current pain center and extremely unhappy, I'm repeatedly told I'm a liar after they have told me something and I have to pay extra to have a "comprehensive" visit just to discuss my medications. I'm seeking a doctor that will actually listen to me and my problems which is many. I have a doctor for just about every body system and every one of them actually listen to me as I know my body best. They are proud to be treating me as many consider me a 'walking miracle' as I was in a coma and developed ARDS that 75% of people die from. I should know, I live in it. I've got to find a pain doctor that will listen to me and get this pain under control. Currently I just the place I'm going to is just collecting my money without helping and I've been there 3 years in October!!!

Been to many pain centers. Dr T. is the only one, the only one ever to listen to me. I have been and had more pain free days in the last 60 then all the good days combined in 25 years. I am sold and happy

It has been a couple years now I have been seeing the Doc. I am still very impressed and like most, am a more functional human being. To not have to ask my wife to lift (she still does worry about my back because it will go out) something brought back some manhood to me.
