The emergency department on dayshift is horrible!! Dr. Osborn and the nurse i had Anna were so rude and very unprofessional. If you are in pain or in need off professional care takers, I would highly recommend you go to another facility or wait until another shift comes on. I had several surgeries at the facility about 10-15 years ago and they were fantastic. I had not been back for that amount of years until recently. Boy has it changed. The only bright light was a nurse in triage named Wanda. More nurses should be like her. Although i only saw her at check in and one other time. She made a difference in my 7 hour visit. I saw Dr. Osborn one time. When i first arrived, Never saw her again. My nurse Anna saw her when i got there and never seen her again. Almost glad about that, Due to the fact she was so rude and cold. Had an IV put in when i got there. After an hour i had to go to the restroom. I rang the call bell and the nurse never came, It was an hour later when the nurse Wanda walked by. Due to the fact my door was wide open the whole time. She unhooked my bp minitor and iv and i went to the restroom. They never came in and hooked it back up and i was there 6 more hours. They ran a bunch of test. I assume they were fine. But i was never told. A nursing student from UAH dismissed me and i was never told of any results. What a horrible excuse for an Emergency facility. Most unprofessional and unsympathetic medical employees i have ever seen. If you dont like to help and deal with sick and people who need medical attention, Maybe a better career option should be considered. I will never go back there ever again!! They are the WORST!!

Possibly one if the worst experiences ever! After going to a family medical place they sent us here for lab work. Then decide to put us in a room. As we wait for a typically, incredibly long time. My wife's pain counties to elevate. With other medical conditions this causes more issues. AFC got the pain under control, for 40 minutes I continued to ask if they could do something to continue to manage the pain. They'd say the nurse would be out....and nothing. So, issue one...incompetence or lying. Then we get to a room and I ask the "rude waitress" with no compassion. Her response is she isn't a nurse and her job is to shuffle people around. I say, "this place is unbelievable." To atypical excuse me! Response...(enter her oh-so caring and compassionate attitude) and she responds about not having to take this type of abuse and she'll get security and doesn't have to stand for this. My response....silence and walk away. Issue 2...same as issue one, even though I didn't respond, guess who comes knocking? Yup. This hospital's staff are rude, incompetent, and probably the worst, lack compassion. I highly doubt the hospital board use their own building. HR, you might consider adding a personality test of some sort or calling those referrals to see about people.

I am a fan of Crestwood Hospital, their staff, the quality of their services etc. I was equally impressed with a member of their security dept. I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman named Todd who jump started my vehicle. Todd was very helpful, professional & his personality was unmatched. He is an asset to your hospital.

I went to visit my dad tonight. He had back surgery yesterday. He had been moved 3 different times to different floors and rooms today, getting in out beds over and over, and finally this evening getting put in a bed that was too short for him to be comfortable. The nursing staff was a joke. They didn't seem to care and were quite rude and short. I finally had to leave from visiting before I said something that wasn't nice. My dad wasn't very happy neither. No one likes being in a hospital, but at least Huntsville Hospital is nicer and more friendly.

I have gotten migraines since I was in the sixth grade and so do a few of my children. At 64 I am all too familiar with what a migraine headache entails. Friday night in the ER vomiting, face pain, I tried to explain to them this is not a migraine headache. The doctor walks in screams at me to sit up as she made little attempt to examine me and calls it a migraine. It was a stomach bug and a sinus infection. During the entire visit my son asked 3 times if I may have a blanket and pillow, I was shivering and freezing cold...apparently Crestwood hospital does not have any pillows or blankets because I never did get one. The attitude from the staff was... so....Next time the doc in the box at the corner might be a better choice. I have been to Crestwood in the past and saw no problem but this time was kind of scary.
