Loved it . Attended a wedding there. It was beautiful. In the evening you see the sun setting behind the mountains. Loved it.

Absolutely breathtaking View of the valley. Although you're only at approximately 1700 feet elevation, because of Huntsville sitting in a valley in the mountain prominence, it gives the appearance of you being a thousand feet higher!

Awesome place to go and check out. I took my two daughters 4&6 into the mansion and told them not to touch anything and the gentleman that was the guide said no its fine he wanted them to touch and to be hands on, and when one of my girls inevitably broke something on the music player anyway he was really nice about it. Also nice gift shop with nice staff

We loved this place. Gold mountain was fantastic. The interpreters were so nice and helpful. History came alive for us.
