A true "huntsville experience". On every list of things to do in Huntsville, and for good reason. A truly unique (at least in this area) artist complex. Great artist displays and shops, and innovative food concepts. If you live in Huntsville and have never been, fix that now! 😀

This is a really cool place to visit if you a couple of hours. Grab some tea at piper and leaf and then go see the art and maybe how whiskey is made upstairs. Kids love the popsicles. also checkout the free Friday concerts.

Hundreds of artists from emerging to long careers; visual to performing; wild-child to button down. Open studios, concerts, classes, and large events. Food if you are hungry. One of THE best things to do in Huntsville.

Fantastic artist market! Lots of nifty things to see, and most of the artists were super friendly, willing to really talk about their work and techniques. Lots of kid activities, many free: drawing/painting workshops, cigar-box guitar lessons, hula-hooping lessons (for all ages, & quite fab!), etc. If you're into vinyl, there's a great record store. The artisan chocolate place is incredible, with good coffee, too.

This is a very cool spot filled with so much unique artwork, food and gifts. The only issue is figuring out when each individual shop will be open. I brought my mom and aunt here on a Friday afternoon (around 1) and most of the vendors were not there even though their signs said they opened at 10 or 11 or 12 on Fridays. So don't expect to get to see everything when you are there. Most of the second floor was closed that day. I would have thought Friday would be a sure deal that most stores would be open which is why I picked that day to go.
