The drinks aren't cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for. If you enjoy a top shelf cocktail made to absolute perfection, there is no other place in town that compares. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly bartenders who know what questions to ask to find you the perfect drink. I hate to even call them "bartenders" because they're on a level so far beyond that. If one could get a PhD in bartending, this is where they would work.

This is such a cool bar, tucked away in a basement in a building off of Mass Ave. I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed with the atmosphere, the libations or the service. All of them contribute to a quirky, chill environment that's perfect for a low-key night out. They serve Central State beer (an up-and-coming brewery in Indy) which is always a plus in my book, and my brother tried a "chorizo-fat" mescal which turned out to be quite tasty. My friends were entranced by the video of the dancing man projected onto the wall over our heads. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Plus, the bathrooms were really nice. Overall, a great experience. Wish I could hang out there more often.

In town for the Fringe festival we found this cool downstairs bar that had interesting drinks and a cool vibe. It was my friends birthday that week so we decided to have a small group meet there Sunday night to surprise her. I called ahead 2 days in advance to make sure it was OK and was told they would love to have us. Fast forward to the night, when we got there, the only 2 employees had been told nothing about our group but seemed ready to deal with it. The bartender even asked me for a list of so dogs she'd like to hear which blew me away.
I was so sure the night would be epic.
Within a half hour not only was the stellar customer service gone, they were outright rude to us. Also, they took individual drink orders and then when dropping off the drinks suddenly wouldn't hand them out without a credit card... Mind you, I had been there twice earlier in the week and was never asked to start a tab...
So in review, this place has a great atmosphere and a cool vibe and good drinks. But need to figure out how to run a bar...

One of the best cocktail bars I've ever been to. The menu is on point, with ingredients you've probably never heard of dominating the drinks. The bartenders and servers are not only courteous, they are responsive to your needs and knowledgeable about the craft of drink-making. I was also given a lesson on how to taste bitters, which was awesome! I wish I lived in Indy so I could make this a regular spot.
