Heard a lot about this place. Totally lives up to the hype. Stopped in at 8pm, lovely ambience perfect for studying. Plenty of outlets around. Ordered an iced almond milk chai - made perfectly. Will definitely be back.

Edit: I asked for a glass of orange juice @ 9 am on a Saturday, just to find out that they don't serve juices. So I ended up having their hot chocolate. I wish they had more breakfast ( croissants, pain au chocolate, etc), lunch, and dinner food options on their menu.

This a great coffee shop, close to public transportation, and located in a very safe neighborhood. I just wish they will tone down the music a little bit for people who are actually studying. I was just reading a book and had a hard time concentrating with all the noise. I was there on a Saturday evening from 5-8pm. They have free internet and I only saw one waitress attending to all the tables ( there are approximately 10 tables if I am correct). Some napkins will be helpful too. They have table services only after 6. The servers are very friendly and will answer all your questions.

Great late night atmosphere. Coffee is good, have beer/wine, food, great wifi, personal/communal tables to study or use your laptop. Fast wifi too. Would recommend

Started going to the Thirsty Scholar on the weekends where I typically spend 2-3 hours working. The atmosphere, staff, and food/drink quality are excellent. Typically, I get a latte which is always outstanding. The quiche is very good as well. The staff are incredibly friendly. The first time I was there, the guy working said he hadn't seen me in before and introduced himself to me. They also have beer which, while I have not partaken, is a plus. The high ceilings, bookshelves, cast iron fence, and dark woods give the place a wonderfully comfortable communal feel. The ONLY downside I can think of is that on cold winter days it gets pretty chilly in there as they have huge floor to ceiling windows around the entire restaurant. So maybe bring a jacket in January.
