I am a 14 yr old and one time i was taken to the police station for attempt in harming a little girl. After my visit to the police station, I was taken straight to desert regional hospital and was informed that once they get a call i would spend 72 hours (which equals 3 days) in a mental hospital non other than oasis mental health center which is possibly the worst place they could find. My mom told me all about it. She said the place was awful. I was scared, upset and was felling miserable about what i had done that day. My father came to visit at 8:00 pm and received a bill at 3:00 am stating that he has to pay for the ambulance ride or they will have me transferred to oasis. The next morning, A social worker came and released me. I was relieved that i didn't have to go through what my mother did at that place. i was taken home at 10:30 am, I went to go apologize to the little girl and she and her family forgave me. They stated that they only came to visit the little girls grandparents. This is my story. Oasis sucks.
