I just feel the need to sing the praises of Dr. Tharp and his Entire Office! Back about 10 years ago, I was in need of a tooth transplant because of a bothched ( I found out later ) root canal job. It became infected and, by the time I had moved here from the Detroit area, I was in terrible pain. I had just started teaching and the Principal of our school recommended Dr. Tharp bc she had a root canal procedure and said it was the best she'd had and he was "compassionate". That was just what I needed to hear bc when I was 8 years old, a dentist in Johnson City, TN, pulled one of my adult molars out without anesthetic! He wouldn't believe me (a child...) when I told him the nurse did not give me the "shot"! Needless to say, I've had PTSD concerning dentists and anything having to do with dentistry in my mouth! Long story short: from the very first visit, Dr. Tharp and one of his Angel Assistants (I'll never forget her) held my hand and led me through my dental nightmare until now--- I can go to my regular dental cleaning (what used to be "ordeal") every 3 months! As a result, I rarely have a cavity and, when there is a small one, Dr. Tharp takes care of it BEFORE it can become a real Problem! Preventive Dentistry is one of his many strengths... I believe Everyone in this Office has Compassion for Everyone who comes in...Thank you ALL!!!

Dr. Klaus and his staff are professional, patient, and compassionate. Definitely the best experience at any dental office I have visited. From the moment that I was greeted at the desk to check out, detailed explanation of the problem and solutions bolstered my confidence that I made the right choice to come here. A molar extraction is never a pleasant experience, but I didn't feel any pain during the procedure, and my post procedure instructions were made clear. I actually look forward to going back to plan for an implant.

From the time I talked with someone on the phone and up to my appointment and after, I felt very welcomed by this office. They knew exactly what to do and say. Mind you going to the dentist I get nervous, but I felt truly at ease being in this office and they made me feel comfortable. They talked to me and not at me, thats from the front office to the doctors and they are very knowledgeable.

My consultation with Dr Klaus was very informative. He explained my options and I never felt he was rushing through the process. I appreciate
the way I have been treated from the time of entering the building until I am leaving.

Paul is my husband. I am Sandra Jones and I am the patient.
Last Monday I had a molar extraction and bone graft requiring sutures.
Although I had not looked forward to the procedure, the staff and Dr. Tharp made the experience one that was surprisingly easy. I experienced no frank bleeding and have taken no pain medication. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, kind, professional and very forthcoming with answers to my questions.I was given adequate written instructions for proper care at home. I would certainly recommend Dr. Tharp to anyone seeking dental care. Sandra Jones
