Crechale's is the best place to go out for special occasions. I've been going there for 47 years & it is always super. Trout Almodine is my favorite there!

I have had good experience and bad. Good food most of the time. Service isnt the best from all the times I remember but food for the most part was good.

Firstly, I can't say I enjoy how the restaurant looks and where it's located. It fits in too well to the surrounding area for them to ask the prices that are listed. Secondly, the lighting is remarkably dark. It felt like dining inside a cave instead of a highly rated restaurant with the price to show for it. Service is phenomenal, though, and that's where this place gets each of its 3 stars. I ordered the fried snapper. Whoever mans the frier knows what they're doing. The texture and lightness of the fish after frying was heavenly. However, it was grossly underseasoned. Also, 7.75 for one measly dish of salad that didn't have any special ingredients (the mozarella cheese was pretty much super market cheese) is ridiculous.

Great fresh fish and soft shell crabs. We always have exceptional service and food. Thanks for Stephanie's service tonight and to Bob Crechale for continuing this exceptional restaurant.

The man that met us at the door was so nice. Greeted us like long lost friends. The food was great. All the employees went over and above to get us seated and fed. My only problem was the noise
It was too loud to visit with the rest of my party.
