Springfield Disc Golf Course

18 hole disc golf course running through several parks in Springfield (north downtown Jacksonville). A nice selection of easy to moderate skill challenges. Water, deep grass, trees and even buildings make up obsticles. The course is usually not overly busy so you can take your time or give a throw a second try. The creek that runs through the park is marked as unsafe .. one might want to take care. I believe the park is maintained by the City.

Great course for a quick, uncrowded round. First course here that I threw under par.

generally safe despite location, easy course with many upgrades and landscaping as of 2017

It's a fun little course. It's free, so worth every penny, but not something to write home about.

Sure there are a lot of homeless people around. But the park is well maintained and the course is fun. Just be alert and be aware when golfing alone.
