I went to the Capital Grille in KC for a business dinner/meeting. The service was excellent as you would expect. The food was great but I have had better at other Capital Grille's. The food was by no means bad - it was great - 9 out of 10.

Went for dinner with my daughter and was seated immediately. Waiter never came, had to find a waiter. My waiter looked confused and stressed. Food arrived late and cold. At this point I was ready to go. Business was not busy this day yet still did not receive good service. Horrible service, which is usually not the case here. I was highly disappointed.

Food great as usual, staff was great. however, the food delivery service was NOT so good! They were running around delivering food to the wrong tables.....manager included. My party ordered and got his food 10 minutes before me. Too busy I guess...it was 7:30pm

Seriously irritated. Food was messet up, still sitting here waiting for them to fix it. Watched the table next to me get up and walk out. Service is normal really great. This serve sucks. Manager no where to be found. Very disappointed. Probably won't be back.

WARNING - NEW OWNERS, NOT CORPORATE ANYMORE
I wanted to warn everyone, this applebee's need to be avoided because it is no longer a corporate restaurant with standards, it is now a franchise and it has gone downhill.
I used to really enjoy this restaurant and was a regular, but i will NEVER go back. The service and food quality not worth paying for. You might as well stay home and cook instead of waiting long periods for the wrong order and then being served cold food.
I heard from some of the staff who i knew that the new owners are cheap and don't even want things like ketchup or sugar packets left on the tables.
Sad to see a place i used to enjoy going downhill, but i informed them i wouldn't return and they didn't seem to care.
