I am tired of giving Soccer Taco a chance. I want it to be great, but there is something wrong every single time I've gone. Usually the food is room temperature at best, and half the time the service isn't good. The last time, I ordered what used to be a favorite dish of mine here, Chile Verde (11.99), and it has really gone downhill. It was bland and kind of sour, as if it was a little too old, and the service was heinous.
Soccer Taco has fallen prey to what a many great restaurants do when they start to open other locations, decline of quality. I saw on their website they are opening a new one in Farragut; I think they should focus on the quality of their existing eateries before opening any more locations.
Then again, people still go there in droves, and just like Downtown Grill and Brewery, I can't help but wonder why the heck they keep going to a clearly sub par establishment. I for one will never go back. I'll give my money to Taqueria la Herradura food truck, or Senior Taco, which has remodeled and much improved lately.

My first experience and definitely not my last. It's a pretty happening place, clean and good food so far. I ordered the beef tacos with rice and beans; pretty tasty. They also bring warm tortilla chips and salsa pretty quickly after you have been seated. If your down in Market Square, give them a shot!

We go to a New Mexican restaurant every week. And by far this one has the best fajitas we have tried. Veggies were crisp and flavorful. Service was exactly how I would want it. Some may want more tentative service, but I prefer to be left to my meal. I would definitely recommend this place. Great prices too can't beat it for Friday night meal.

Every time we come here we are welcomed with the most amazing customer service and the food...... The FOOD is AMAZING!!! As if a wizard came to 2017 and performed the greatest taste spell on tacos, fajitas, burritos, salsa, etc etc ETC..... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY ! I must be under this spell this spell of the taco wizard. What am I to do.... What am I to do?! Wait..... I should go to Soccer Taco. Its calling my name.

I love this place. The only reason it isn't five stars is because I can't always understand the servers. They're kind and fast, but it's sometimes a little hard to communicate. The fish tacos are some of the best in Knoxville, and I have yet to get food here I haven't enjoyed.
