Avoid at all cost. They completely and even boastfully ignore the bible. They say all the bible is optional and God doesn't care what you do. They are experts at constructing gold calves and worshiping it. Not an actual Mennonite church or church of God at all.

While traveling in the area of eastern Tennessee we had occasion to attend a Sunday morning service at Knoxville Mennonite Church. A fairly small membership and fittingly informal we found the leaders and membership to be people of real Anabaptist Christian conviction and perfectly welcoming to visitors. Be sure to attend Nancy's Sunday School class and in spite of the many talented musicians among the membership I hope that Rueben is playing piano the day you're there.
