I was there for alive after 5. The music was great, but it was too loud to carry on a conversation with someone unless you were back in one of the galleries.

Small museum with some interesting exhibits. You can easily go through it in a couple of hours. Free admission and parking.

Surprisingly good art museum for a small City. Rotating art displays where unusual and attention-getting. Have not seen anything like it even in larger cities. Worth a look

Man, I love art and Knoxville has a,sweet little museum. When we visited it was late in the day so I didn't get to see everything, but ivwill go back. They have super nice people working there. There are a few interactive exhibits that our daughter enjoyed and I saw that they have learning ops for kids but we didn't experience that so I don't have any observations to share about that but they are probably great!

Really enjoy it here. Nice kids fun area for free crafts and play. Also, free trolley rides right down the road by the chocolate factory. Fort kid next door is fun too! We have had many fun days in this area. Highly recommend fort kid, art museum, trolley, chocolate factory, and a stroll through market square for a nice family outing on a budget. Bring extra clothes for the mini splash pad at market square. And don't forget about going in the golden ball and playing at the big splash pad and park down below.
