I love Long’s. I can’t remember a time in my 50+ years when they weren’t a part of my life. The mega pharmacies just see you as a number, to me. These folks know my name, know something about and have great food to boot! One of the best breakfast joints in East Tennessee, awesome burgers and sandwiches, handmade shakes and the menu prices are right out of the 70s.

I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and it took an hour to get my order. 10 minutes just to get my drink. When the food arrived it was barely warm and the burger was falling apart on the platter and the bun was squished with a big greasy thumb print in the middle. One of the worst eating experiences I've ever had.

Hank: Sadly, today was over an hour wait only to be told the fryer wasn't working properly so half our order wasn't brought to us. They can get chips fussed the cook. No offer of free dessert or half off. Have been coming for years but today was a disappointment.
One couple waited and finally had to leave.
Tell customers up front next time the fryer isn't working properly.
Over an hour wait and then telling them no is not the way to run a successful business.

I came in here on Saturday for the 1st time. I have heard nothing, but good things about this place and was very disappointed. We sat for over an hour before my friend finally asked a waitress where our food was. She told us that they had to get fresh burgers and they would be right out. What does that even mean? We waited a few more minutes and then asked a different guy if our burgers were even on the grill yet. He checks and tells us they haven't even started on our order yet. The only thing I can think of is that they were cooking burgers one at a time. The place was busy, but not THAT busy. No apologies, nothing so we left.
