The food is amazing and the ribs are to die for!!! Like seriously, best ribs I've ever had. The service on the other hand was disappointing to be honest. Server could have been alot more helpful and kind. The food definitely made up for it though!!!!

Was driving through Knoxville and decided to stop in for lunch. It was a very nice experience, although it was pretty hot that day, we sat outside overlooking the river. The misters and umbrellas helped with keeping us moderately cool. We had a great view of the UT stadium from here. The outside wait staff is a little slow, but make up for it with niceness. The food was better than I expected. Wish we had a nice river front restaurant where we live. Didn't post any pictures. We took some selfies and I'm sure you don't want to see that ;-)

Popular large restaurant on the Tennessee River with well-liked b-b-q, especially ribs. Other menu items are just as good. Moderately priced. Parking is tight. Very long wait on football weekends when the Tennessee Vols play within walking distance.

I saw where some people weren't fans of this place, but I'm visiting from out of state and went there for the first time and it was amazing. I ordered the pulled pork nachos with Jalapeno's and it was phenomenal. And how can you go wrong with whiskey? Outside patio over the water and a view of the bridge; awesome! My Server was really good and I had no issues whatsoever. Oh, and bonus - live music! If I lived here I would frequent this place regularly. Nice job Knoxville.

Neat location right on the river in downtown Knoxville. Our server Nicole was great, but it seemed like the kitchen and bar had some issues. It took a long time to get our drinks and food even though the restaurant was far from packed. A gal at the table next to us got served the wrong order. I ordered a steak cooked medium and it was medium rare. Not a huge issue for my taste, but my wife would've sent it back. The Smoky Mountain Brewery beers are pretty good though. If you go in expecting average chain restaurant fare, then you'll probably enjoy your meal. If this is supposedly "The Taste of Tennessee" then the local flavor needs some help.
