My husband and I are extremely happy that we found and selected Bendel Family Dentistry when we moved to Lafayette 4 years ago. We have complete confidence in the diagnosis and procedures recommended by Dr. Chauvin. All of the staff are friendly and professional. We have also found work done to be competitively priced. HIGHLY Recommended!

AMAZING experience!! After having "not so great experiences" in the past with other dental offices, Bendel Family Dentistry made me feel at home and took extra care in reassuring me that I was going to be okay!!! VERY professional staff and Dr. Chauvin is amazingly patient! I'm SO glad I found them!!

I was referred by Acadiana orthodobtist to bendel family dentistry. I went and was told that I had 9 cavaties!!! When last cleaning (at a different dentist) I only had two. Well I got a cleaning and went to another orthodontist. He told me that I had 2 cavities that needed to be filled. I went back to bendel to get the filling and was bullied as they tried to convince me to get these 9 fillings before getting braces. They were negative about the orthodontist that I chose and extremely rude with their remarks
Well I called my orthodontist to double check and he said yes I had 2. After getting my braces I brought my orthodontist the treatment plan from bendel which listed the fillings that I "needed:... well I found out that bendel was trying to get me to redo fillings that I already had done and I infact had only two. They do composite fillings which are more expensive... my copay would have been 1500 for these "needed" fillings... needless to say, they are very snooty and will try to milk you for unnecessary treatments. Always get a second opinion!
