I went in to merely get a later appointment for a cleaning. Not only did they get me seen for an initial visit and X-rays immediately, but had me set up for a cleaning they next day! Awesome service! Brandy is great!

First of all I want to start with this place is awesome they set me up with a payment plan because I don't have dental insurance and really needed a dentist and no other dentist in Lafayette would see me.
Since I have gone here numerous times I can finally right a personal review.

I have gone to them now 5 times
Once for a dental plan quick and painless and Haley was the dentist assistant who helped me with X-rays
I AM TERRIFIED OF THE DENTIST
but Haley made me more relaxed made me feel in great hands and I love that
Haley has helped me through two fillings and all of the stuff to get that far she was funny and sweet made for a great experience.

I have gone once for a teeth cleaning and Vicki the hygienist does a great job she was was awesome no pain and my mouth never felt so clean.

Sarah is the front desk and office manager she is awesome. She always greets me by name and always ask me how I have been really makes me feel comfortable when people meet me on a personal level makes me feel at home and Sarah is the first smiling face you will normally see. She is funny too which is cool helps bring down the anxiety and not only is she the office manager she also is a dental assistant and when I needed a tooth extracted I was terrified and she held my hand through the hole process

Dr petry himself man is he awesome. He feels like a big brother. He will pick at you to make you smile. He is painless I am terrified of needles but when he did it I barely felt anything
He is very knowledgeable and he works quick but when he puts down his tools you just got a great job done.

I would recommend this dentist office to anybody. You want kind loving family oriented painless and amazing job done come here you won't be sorry I'll stake my life on it.

I wish we had read all the reviews prior to visiting Petry Dentistry as we had the same experience as many others before.

Dr. Petry is great and the services provided are good, but the billing process and the related customer service are extremely unprofessional and very frustrating. My husband's 1st visit was in Nov15 and they said they would file the claim with our insurance. The billing office was not able to get the claim submitted successful to our insurance for 15 months! During the course of the 15 months we continued to receive bills with finance charges. We have made multiple calls to the business office for resolution and my husband has stopped by their office on 2 occasions to no avail. Our phone messages were never returned or we were put "on hold" for after an extended time our call would be disconnected. This later experience happened multiple times on multiple occasions therefore I don't believe it to be an accident. but while this was happening we continued to get Summarized invoices that gave no detail and had financing charges that were continuing to accumulate.

After multiple unsuccessful attempts to get this resolved via phone, I personally had to appear in the office to get this resolved.

The office manager was very short with me and never once apologized for any of the stress or inconvenience their incompetent processes had caused. They basically took 15 months to have our claimed filed correctly (I know this because I had spoken with my insurance multiple times about these claims) and they were going to charge us a $78 finance charge fee for the extended period it took them to have the claims paid? And there was no apology for never returning our phone messages.

I understand things don't always flow perfectly, but at least have good customer service and return messages of the customers TRYING to reconcile their invoice and pay you. And when things do go wrong the words "Sorry for the inconvenience" go a long way. The office manager's attitude was the most frustrating aspect of the entire process.

My husband is disappointed to no longer see Dr. Petry, but with his current office staff we can no longer be continue as patients due to the extremely poor attitude they have towards their customers.

Well where do I begin. Dr.Petry and his team aka everyone who works at the office is so VERY pleasant to be around. My situation was trickier than most but yet they found a way to make it seem not so overwhelming. If they say they are going to do something, they will do it, even in a timely manner. Dr.Petry strives for perfection and I very much appreciate that about him. You will leave feeling taken care of. Highly satisfied is my experience overall!
