I have only gone early in the morning after getting off of work. Service is usually good but several times I had servers who were inattentive and I almost felt my request were ignored. On this visit service was great and I appreciated that. I enjoy the food, the Caribbean scrambler is my favorite. But the corn grits and vegetables could use a little more seasoning. The signiture drinks are amazing, and bottomless mimosas are a nice way to finish off a work week!

I had the Caribbean scrambler and the single pancake with bacon. The chicken in the scrambler was hard and dry, like as if it was frozen chicken. The eggs were extremely overcooked. They added hard raw pineapple, rather than grilling it as to allow it to soften and the natural sugars to be released (which only takes about 20-30 seconds to do). Also they took a slice of cheese and just placed it on top. The pancake was severely under cooked, to where there was raw batter in the middle, the edges of it were extremely chewy--yes a chewy pancake. I only finished about 5% of the food. Also, the service was extremely rude and the bar tender was yelling across the restaurant about the football game that was on, and I had to wait 25 minutes just to get silverware. The place was only 25% filled and they had a full staff...the majority seemed to just be sitting around talking with each other. Save your time and money, GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They were busy. We were seated almost immediately but the line stacked up quickly afterwards. The waitress was great and apologized for the food taking a while to come out. I simply told her we were from New Orleans and knew good food takes time. I asked if they were short handed and she smiled. I know that smile.
The food was great (I had Bananas Foster French Toast) and the atmosphere just as good. I tipped my server well because she was doing a fantastic job in spite of the adversity. I always blame management for service issues; it falls squarely on their shoulders. For me there was no issue but i did hear some grumbling from other tables. Would I go back? Tomorrow. Day after that as well. Great place.

Tasty breakfast menu! I ordered the "Trucker's Breakfast," and it satisfied my " big breakfast" appetite.
The waitress and general manager were awesome. There was little wait time on the food, too, which was surprising: quaint eateries usually take some time to fill orders...regardless if there is a packed house or a few patrons...but the food was out in no time; every bite was worth it!

I'll be honest, the food was very bland. I was pretty disappointed with how much salt and pepper I needed to add to pretty much everything. The sausage gravy needed it, the corn grits needed it, the eggs needed it, etc. They clearly know how to make the food well and the presentation was good enough, but their chef needs to pick up some seasoning and throw some on everything.
That being said, the burgers there are really great and I think they redeem the place as a whole. But the breakfast is lackluster at best.
