I had the poached eggs with crab and corn cakes. It was delish. My husband's choice was the Cajun poached eggs with the the gumbo. He enjoyed it. He ordered grits on the side which were extremely salty. A very heavy brunch, but delightful. Pricy!

Wish I could give it no star. EXTREMELY slow service. Went here to meet up with family for a mini reunion breakfast/brunch on Sunday Nov 5. Was first in line at the 9 o'clock opening. We had a party of 12 so we realized it may take some time. However after an hour one of our party went to speak to the .manager who was actually the owner. Was told by owner "we got this". After another 1/2 hour she went to ask about our order again and the owner would not speak to her. I had ordered the pecan roasted pancakes with bacon. I received my bacon 20 minutes before my pancakes. No one else had received anything. After 2 hours our orders started trickling out. However 2 people in our party NEVER received their order. We were not charged for our drinks as an apology but it would have been nice to have an apology frfom a manager or the owner. As for the food, it was good but not special enough for this type of delay and service. Would NOT recommend this restaurant unless you are not on a time schedule and don't care if you actually get your food or not. 👎👎👎👎👎

I didn't get my food and beverages until 45 minutes after being seated. The food was absolutely incredible. But our server was more attentive to other guests and it was obvious. It's a shame because i love the decor, the atmosphere, and most of all the food.

I want to love this place SO bad because their food is truly delicious and I am a huge fan of brunch. However, the service we received on a Sunday was horrendous. We were seated around 12:00 (after waiting about 45 minutes which is to be expected at a Sunday brunch spot). Our waitress, to her credit, was very attentive and we were never lacking in drinks. The food service was just SO SO slow. We didn't receive food until at least 1:30. There was a point at which we looked around the restaurant and not a single person had food on their table. That is so unacceptable. The menu items are not special enough to warrant this. I cannot even imagine how small their kitchen must be to result in an entire restaurant not having food and then individual plates SLOWLY trickling out one at a time. Our table of 5 didn't even receive all five meals at once when they finally arrived. Again, the food is very very good, but I don't think we'll be coming back or recommending this place until the food service has improved. How frustrating for the wait staff to have to apologize to every single table for the unreasonable food wait times.

Arrived at restaurant at 10:30 am. Waited 30 minutes for our seats as we were told by hostest. Then waited additional 15 minutes because there was not proper seating to accommodate a high chair (we have a toddler). We ordered our food as soon as we were seated and it arrived at 11:45 am. The place is really popular and this creates a long wait for everything. The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. It's not really toddler friendly. If you want a place to sit and chat before having great food then this is a hit. If you want to eat within an hour or have small kids then I'd recommend trying another restaurant.
