Greetings All! I sure wish I could give Dr. Newman and his team much more than the 5 Star Rating ... as they are true SUPERSTARS and are worth much, much more on the rating scale! First off - Dr. Newman is a very caring and professional urologist... who listens acutely/carefully to his patients - with not only his ears, but also with his heart and his medical mind. He is professionally and competently supported by an amazing office and nursing staff - consisting of Brinae, Jillian, Christina, Tina and Lisa. The team is always top-notch professional, friendly, smiling, and ready/able to assist with the comfort and satisfaction of the patient.
I am a senior male who went to Dr. Newman with several serious, potentially life threatening issues...specifically, an enlarged prostate, a damaged bladder and urinary retention. After several initial tests during my first appointment...this "miracle doctor" and his staff went into "minute-man action!" There was an immediate need for catherization to relieve the over extended bladder/urine retention condition - followed by a cystoscopy to inventory the true physical status of the prostate and bladder conditions. Dr. Newman using a very humanistic approach, explained my status and the required steps necessary to relieving symptoms and correcting my medical issues. He scheduled and performed a corrective therapy/procedure - GreenLight Laser Therapy to get me back on the road to NORMALCY LIFESTYLE. {GreenLight is a form of Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) but uses laser instead of the traditional TURP heated wire to cut tissue from the prostate. In using Laser in the procedure (instead of the heated wire TURP,) there is less chance of blood loss, very little bleeding, short-term catherization (only 2 days) it is processed as day-surgery...patient goes home immediately after the procedure, and patient is feeling good and back to normal activity within a couple of days.} OK...so why am I writing such a lengthy review you ask... ANSWER: Because...as many of you know, there are LOTS of general and specialist doctors practicing in Las Vegas...and, we can never be sure as to which professionals and medical facilities are worth their weight in gold and which to run far and fast away from! And... Heaven knows...all of us have heard the "tales of woe" from fellow Southern Nevada residents/friends/family who were disappointed by the medical care received thru a professional with whom they trusted their medical issue, well-being, and LIFE.
So folks...my reason for sharing this review with you, my Nevada colleagues, is to let you know that if you are experiencing Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and want to see the ABSOLUTE BEST UROLOGIST in our fair city...PLEASE CALL DR. LAWRENCE NEWMAN...NOW! Additionally, cited as the TOP Urologist in Southern Nevada - his professional dossier of Medical Specialist - Competency includes; general prostate issues, kidney stones, urinary infections, incontinence, vasectomy, infertility, erectile dysfunction, and overactive bladder. I do NOT usually review anyone for anything...but in Dr. Lawrence Newman's case...I felt the need to step forward and raise my hand! Thank you Doctor, for putting me back on the road to healthy lifestyle and living! You and your professional team are AWESOME!!!!

We have been seeing Dr. Newman on and off for the past year and a half. His staff is second to none. It is a small office, which makes it very personable. His staff always has a smile and are very welcoming to you. Dr. Newman is, not only personable, he is very professional. When a friend, David J,needed EMERGENCY surgery, he and his staff was right on top of things. I think the best thing is that he takes TIME with ALL of his patients. From authorization, to completion, everything went smooth. I would, and will use him again and again. Thank you Dr. Newman for ALL of your help and THANK you to your staff. Whenever asked, I will recommend him.

Dr. Newman deserves kudos for his professionalism and superb knowledge. I had a urological problem that he identified and treated successfully on my very first visit.

I have known Dr Newman for quite a while and he is one of the best Doctors in town. I noticed a couple of people gave him less than five stars in their reviews and that I feel is not fair. He takes time with each patient and waiting for 30 minutes so someone else can get special attention only tells me that I will get the same amount of respect and attention that I need. Thank you
