We went to Doohan's/Cathouse twice in one day with the groupon. The first time we were too early as Doohan's opens at 5pm, so we returned at 10:45pm and found it was a $20 cover for the cathouse. There was no mention of that on the groupon; misrepresention of the value of food/drink = big thumbs down. There are many other options in Las Vegas. Judging by the reviews below, it appears that social media may kill the Cat!

If you're looking for a more intimate, lounge type dance setting with people who are going out to meet others (not just strut around), the Cathouse is the place to go. Dominic, the current manager, took care of all our needs along with his commendable staff. Definitely ask for him at the door - he'll give you a great deal. We purchased a table and he made sure we had plenty of girls and alcohol to go around. Best of all, this is a prime spot to go as there is discount admission when tickets are purchased for the Thunder from Down Under male review. Everyone is ready to party at this place. They have a hookah area and a pool table as well.

Hoping for a unique club, this is not it. It started with a waiter asking us if we were going to drink the minimum amount of drinks to sit at the table we initially sat down at; a pitiful "VIP" section it was. While we fully intended to stay long enough to meet the "minimum", his attitude was enough for me to tell him that we'll find someplace else. In other words, if he was our waiter, I'll get my own drinks. It went downhill from there. The drinks were weak at best and poured out of sight. They say drinks are free for the ladies, but that doesn't include the mix with the drink. So a red bull vodka costs $10 bucks (the bottom shelf vodka is "free", the red bull is $10). Come on. There were no girls dressed up like they show in the ads and the music/dj was stuck in the 90's.
