I had a total knee replacement done on 8/31/17. I was sent home instead of to a Rehab which made no sense since I live on the 2nd floor & didn't get much practice at the hospital climbing steps.
A few weeks after discharge, I finally began receiving PT at home but only had several visits. One therapist quit claiming he was no longer working thru Sahara. I finally got a new therapist, who came nearly 1 1/2 hours after his start time.
Becoming frustrated with my lack of progress, my daughter decided to call & complain, as the Patient Rights Handbook indicated we had the right to do. Well, Sahara didn't care for this. I had another appointment with the new therapist, who didn't show. I called the company as they didn't have the guts to call & tell me why he was a no-show. I also found out that they didn't want to work with me because I live in a studio apartment, which they claimed was "too small." For what? PT exercises could be done easily. It's not like they were bringing in a treadmill or something. And we could have gone outside. Where the stairs are.
I feel like I was discriminated against because of my living situation.
I did the therapy on my own, including stairs, no thanks to this company. Avoid them if you can.

A FREAKING JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is a freaking joke. They don't help with ANYTHING. My mother has been home from the hospital for a MONTH and still is unable to move about without her walker.

They claimed she had 5 sessions. Yeah, a session with them sitting there talking to her is helping. I plan on suing them royally.

Oh and they stopped her service because I was agitated that they have done nothing. If you cannot handle a disgruntled person, perhaps you should not be in business. Also, they never even called to tell her, she had to call and find out.

A pathetic excuse for a company.
