Love JDI, always friendly and a fantastic environment with great food, but the food service is very slow, even when there aren't hardly anyone in the restaurant. Also, they have a decent beer menu with some locals, but not quite the selection you'd expect...beer menu seems stuck in 2000s thinking. Again, I really do love the place, just explaining the lack of the 5th star.

We came in as a party of 3 on a Sunday afternoon based on a friend's recommendation. There was one server working the floor, so our wait time was excessive for the food we ordered. I changed my order because the server said the brisket is one of the best dishes, smoked in-house. My sandwich had slices of brisket that were dry and crisp as a chip. Our appetizer, a chicken quesadilla, was delicious. My husband would have enjoyed it more had the kitchen put the sour cream on the side instead of drizzling over the top as we requested. Too pricey for poor service and food that was subpar.

We ordered the loaded nachoes with brisqit... loved it. The burger was very good as well. Service was great the manager was great. Not a bad price. We'll be back we give this a easy 4.5 stars.

We rented the 3rd floor space for our wedding reception 5/21. We planned this wedding from Texas and communicated mostly with Chris via email, he was great. He always replies quickly and answered every question I had (which was a lot). We booked this space last year and went to visit a couple of times before the actual event. We were able to make changes and adjust things up until the day of and everyone was really easy to work with.
Our wedding was fairly small with about 50 people. The space was plenty of room for dinner and dancing.
We had a few small problems come up but they were handled well and they were fixed before I knew it. Very accommodating.
Sarah and Riley were our bartenders for the night and they were fantastic. They cleared a few tables so we had space for dancing, they adjusted our open bar and kept me updated on where we were at with it through out the night. They also made a quick run downstairs for a bottle of champagne for toasts at the last minute. Not only that but they were fun and super friendly, it made the night a breeze.
The food was great and we had multiple compliments on it. We fell a little short on the servings but Chris was super quick to respond and had more upstairs ASAP.
Overall it was a great night and the reception was perfect. Everyone there worked really hard to make sure the night went well and I was so thankful for that!

We rented the third floor for a private party and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The food was fabulous......the beer cheese, fried pickles, nachos and Wildcat burger were to die for. The bar is very well stocked. The atmosphere was fantastic.....pool table, comfortable furniture and several TVs. The owner, Hilary and manager, Chris were extremely accommodating and every request was taken care of quickly. I will most definitely return.
