There is a VERY rude little girl named Melissa that works in the call center who could benefit from further training. She is extremely rude and hostile as if her working in a call center starring at a computer in a badly lit office is your fault. The customer service is piss poor, nobody wants to wait 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone only for that someone to be nasty and rude, they are dealing with people's money and should act like it.

DO NOT BANK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! THIS BANK RAN AN INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT WITH OUT MY KNOWLEDGE BRING MY CREDIT SCORE DOWN!!! I'VE NEVER KNOWN ANY BANK TO RUN YOUR CREDIT TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT IN WHICH YOU ALREADY BANK WITH!!! BE AWARE !!!

I wanted to use this bank for my mortgage since I am a member. The mortgage lender I had wasn't really willing to go the extra mile with me. She said it was impossible for me to secure a loan because of my student loans etc. I even provided her with information on how it could work based on research I had done when she said some things were "not allowed" or "this is mortgage law/policy" I went to another mortgage lender and they worked with underwriting and got me approved. It was a long process requiring more documentation and work than usual but the lender said up front that he noticed that and he said usually lenders would turn you away which is what already happened. I later emailed the lender that I got approved and she responded well are you sure they did took into account your loans, etc etc and I didn't even reply I was disgusted by the excuses when yes they took in everything but worked with me to make it work. They did the work even had to conference call with the department of education but they made it work.
Other than the savings interest rate being great, the customer service experiences are very poor.

When I first started using this bank about 5 years ago, it was great and so was the customer service. But that past year, I have had nothing but bad experiences. Rude staff, problems with my accounts, holds and frozen accounts for no reason and the list goes on. Just like the other people on here that have had awful experiences, I too will be switching banks.
