My wife was diagnosed with an aneurysm on March 26th, 2017 and air-lifted to UK hospital and chances of survival looked very slim. Dr. Fraser explained to us that she and a large bleed on her brain (6 centimeters by 4 centimeters) and had shifted her brain 4 millimeters.
The next day Dr. Fraser performed a procedure to repair the ruptured blood vessel and remove the blood from her brain. The result of the surgery was unknown after. We really wouldn't know anything until she woke up. 2 days later she was breathing on her own and the ventilator was removed. 5 days after that my wife woke up where we found that she had no movement on her right side and aphasia(trouble with communication) she could not speak well.
My wife now is walking on a walker on her own and speech is much better and currently going to physical, occupational, and speech therapy. She is able to many things on her own without assistance.
Our followup visit with Dr. Fraser he found she had a pocket of air from the initial surgery so he scheduled her for a surgery to repair. Dr. Fraser also performed and angiogram on her himself. The day of the surgery for repair of the air pocket she was scheduled at 2 pm at 4 pm they still did not have her to surgery so Dr. Fraser came to the room and got her himself. The repair was successful.
I am 100% sure that had it not been for Dr. Justin Fraser and his excellence in his field that my wife would not be with me today. I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Fraser. This man goes above and beyond for the care of his patients. Dr. Fraser also explains everything in great detail from the problem to his plan of action, and explains it to where you can understand. I highly recommend Dr. Justin Fraser for anyone suffering or anyone who has a family member suffering from a neurological disorder of any kind. In my opinion he is simply the best and I am truly grateful that he was the neurosurgeon that performed surgery on my loved one. My life would not be complete without her in it and I have the good lord above and the specialized hands and excellence of Dr. Fraser to thank for that.
