Excellent, genuine Cajun with a very eccletic feel. I believe the folks in my group had everything on he menu covered by our orders and everyone was convinced their item was the best. They must have the most extensive sauce collection in all of Lexington. I prefer "Crystal". I grew up in Lexington and I took the folks I work with from Shelby County there and they were all delighted by their experience.

Nice beer options, friendly staff, unique atmosphere, and yummy food made this a worthwhile stop. Parking can be difficult.
I tried four entree types, and while the flavor was great, they could use a little more distinction between dishes. One entree had lukewarm rice, but thankfully the rest was warm so mixing fixed that real quick.

Eat here! Amazing! I lived in New Orleans for 22 years and this place has a spot on menu. Great selection, always fast and friendly service, and nice amounts! The casual, new Orleans decorated interior and availability of All the hot sauces makes this a great quick bite or pickup spot.

Nice selection of Cajun slow-cooked dishes over rice, including vegetarian. Best value is the half-and-half plate. Downside: This place might have looked fresh and playful when it first opened, but now it looks faded and dusty. As long as the gumbo tastes good, the interior gets a pass.

Great food, but had a bad customer service experience. Got a half instead of a proper whole order. Called the store and was promised "a couple free meals" by the employee who said he was the manager. Came to get the food the next day or so, and turns out he wasn't a manager. Then the owner hi self was there and seemed to only give back the difference in price between the half and whole orders. Wouldn't have even come back if that was what would have happened. Wasn't even worth the gas and effort. Should have at least comped the original meal, let alone make good on the promise made by staff. And this from the owner to boot. Don't plan on ever going back.
