Love the food here, the chicken is great but my favorite part of it is the Canes sauce. I don't know what they put in it but it is some of the most delicious sauce I have ever had. The food is great and I have never been to Canes where I did not like the staff, they have always had good people working at the restaurant.

It’s been a 8 days since the time fell back an hour, we have been traveling for hours looking forward to a hot caniac combo. To our disappointment, arrived at 8:55pm and finding your restaurant at war admiral drive, in Lexington Ky, closed up, no one in sight. Even though the web site and door sign showed open till 10pm. Very disappointed! 😢 I guess they forgot to set their clocks back? A faithful caniac member

The staff was wonderful, friendly, and cheerful! They seemed genuinely happy that we chose to eat there. The food was prepared fresh to order and was served piping hot. A manager walked in, while we were there, and immediately started checking on the dining room area.

Omg they have the best chicken ever! I wish they were here in Frankfort but they are not. The chicken is big pieces, juicy and tender and come with a dipping sauce that is awesome. I also love their coleslaw. I will go out of my way to have this again.

We went there right before closing time and they gave us enough chicken to last 3 days for 4 people! And they were very cool about it. Now we know the secret - go right before closing time and they'll give you a ton of free chicken so they don't have to throw it away. We were just passing through on vacation and may come back but it was worth going there. The had some chairs and tables outside, so we ate out there.
