Beautiful venue; terrible event management. This is the second year we booked Rule G for a corporate event. The first year, flawless. This year, painful. There was a transition to a new event manager and there was no communication on this change even though we had booked this space the previous year. We were trying to contact the previous event manager which was supported with information on the website. Once we were finally made aware of the change, we continued to struggle with communication. Emails, phone calls and in-person visits were not returned. Each phone call and in-person visit was met with: "Sorry, she must be in a meeting." Due to support staff, the event itself was good. However, we still never met the event manager.
Overall, the space is wonderful. We've been lucky with weather the last two years. The catered food from Longwell's is mediocre. The staff running the event is good.
The "good" news in all of this, 50 days after the event we have yet to receive the final bill for event space and food despite two follow-up emails...

Rude bar tenders took over 20 minutes for them to pay any attention to me and once i gave them my order they still made others before mine drinks are very small and expensive

I was there for a bridal shower. Fun place and the staff was excellent.

Too crowded! Bad location, especially for a bar/ club. Top floor+intoxicated individuals=liability problems.

Save yourself the time. If you want the tools of the town this is your spot. Poor design=poor flow skip this place and Longwells both are poorly ran and managed.
