I had a colonoscopy scheduled for 9:30am and walked out after waiting over 3 hours in the prep area. After 2 hours I asked what the hold up was and Janelle (a nurse of sorts) wouldn’t look in my direction when she responded with “the doctor is behind, it’ll be 30 more min.”
She didn’t show any care or professionalism. She also yanked my iv out and was incredibly inconsiderate with how she did so. I took pics in case she did some damage. I’m blown away someone like janelle is allowed to work in a field where you are suppose to show some care or consideration for patients. If she represents that surgery center I suggest choosing a different hospital or surgery center for ANY work done on yourself or someone you care about. My mom took off work to help me and I paid for a uber to get there just to wait for hours and to get treated like trash. I don’t expect royal treatment, I expect a professional atmosphere and to be treated with some care. I will never go back here and I will warn everyone I know about how this place works and how horrible janelle is at her job. I hope someone above her reads this and takes action before she messes up bad. DO NOT CHOOSE SPRINGHILL SURGERY CENTER
