Unbeatable. The most authentic Chinese food in the Little Rock area (at least according to every Chinese person I know) Truly great food! It is surely on par with NY's best Chinese. Ignore the fact that it's in a historically questionable shopping center--you will not regret your visit.
Also, I can highly recommend the Asian food store it's located in. It has lots of fresh (live) fish and crabs and other seafood, amazing duck, huge ramen selection, and everything else for your Asian cooking needs.

I am reviewing my dine-in experience at Mr. Chen's. It was introduced to me as a local gem and a "must try" beloved spot that locals from all around town swear by. So I tried it :) The attached grocery really is full of decent options. It was a nice discovery. At the time of this review I would choose the dine-in experience over delivery. The delivery by a third party I received didn't taste at all like Mr. Chen's. To be fair, that was one incident. I suggest reporting any sub-par deliveries to the restaurant itself if you receive food that doesn't seem at all like dine-in reviews have been described.
Good times at Mr. Chen's! At the time of this review I believe it's a nice and confident choice for casually treating a friend or relative to really good food, on location, at the actual restaurant. It's has been clean and friendy and cozy.

Mom amd I come here whenever she's in town. The basil clams are delicious and the pineapple shrimp is sweet and juicy. We came for lunch and we were pumped we seated and served in the food was excellent. We also love shopping in the store.

I was excited to visit this store today for the first time. Enjoyed they offered lived seafood and other items not found in Little Rock. But the cashier was extremely rude. She laughed and smiled with the young Asian American lady in front of me but when I check out she looked at me with a rude glare and shoved my change in my had. She didn't say a word to me showed me that she cared nothing about myself or my business. I stood back and watched, she did the same to the African American woman behind me and then she smiled and laughed with the Asian America family behind her.

Large portions, low price, great food. Extensive menu has a mix of authentic Chinese and Americanized Chinese dish choices. This restaurant is inside a Chinese grocery store with a fresh (live) seafood section, so they have access to excellent ingredients. The best Chinese I've had since the last time I was in Hong Kong.
