This was once the king of BBQ in NLR, but in past 10 years the quality of the sandwiches and plates have both slid downward. Which is so sad. Ribs are still awesome. Meats are genuinely smoked on scene with hickory wood, which you can taste. The baked beans are unique in all the world, as are the original owner's sauces. 3rd generation family owned now, but his grandpa Vance would cry over what has happened to his ''baby". I am not happy about finding gristle, fat, & bone in my sandwich.

I love the BBQ here. I try to come by here as often as I can. Great fried pies too!

Pulled pork, smoked sausage and brisket! All delicious! Potato salad, amazing. Baked beans amazing. French fries, kinda plain, but still good. Sliced bread is not homemade. BBQ sauce delicious! Definitely recommend.
