First i very rarely write reviews. I just moved to longview 2 weeks ago. I had a chance to have some momma time ( I have a 9 month old boy) and I really needed a hair cut I wanted to treat myself to the works. So I checked out some reviews of local salons and Rendezvous seem like a good place to go. The people there were kinda like blah come were nice and some where pissy. I asked for color samples for hair and they couldnt find them. Before I even sat in the chair I knew something wasn't right with the person about to cut my hair. She was very young and very sweet but was very scattered brain and the steps to do my hair where all off. To make a long story short it took 2 1/2 hours for me to get my hair washed, cut and styled come to find out the girl cutting my hair had a frontal lobe brain injury when she was young and needed to be back on meds for depression. It was a roller coaster ride and it was the last thing I wanted to happen I had lots of hair to work with in the beginning but she messed my hair up. I wasnt mad at her I felt bad for her. I had a long talk with her and told her to find out more info about her condition and get herself healthy and stable and maybe should take a brake from cutting hair for a while. iI still tipped her and I called and talk with the owner she was very nice about it and offered to fix it, but I have already had it fixed somewhere else. So she is refunding my money. I will give them another chance to do my hair one day because the circumstances where different. People are very picky about there hair and dont want to have to worrie while getting there hair done. It should be a friendly, laid back atmosphere were the customer is the number one care.
