Great tour! The first Hollywood studio and now the only studio technically located in Hollywood. Paramount has created numerous classics which you learn more about on the tour: Titanic, Forest Gump, Grease, Terminator, Star Trek, etc. We even bumped into a couple celebrities during the tour.

This is a working studio and not set up for the same type tours offered by Universal Studios. You'll need a pass to get on the property and your name has to be on the security list. There are limited tours...but this is a real time, working studio. You have limited parking because spots are allocated for studio personnel and studio managers. However, this is really a cool place to visit.

This is one of the major production studios in Hollywood. Depending on which "gate" you enter, there is limited wheelchair parking. The main gate is off Melrose Ave. There is a decent parking area for visitors and the best for handicapped parking. You will need to be on the security list to gain entry on the property. Secondary gate is situated off Gower Street and is called Gate 86. Driving around studio you should be extremely careful of tight turns around different stages.

I can't say about the tour but the experience we had there was horrible. My husband and I are visiting LA for the very first time with our 9 months old baby. We wanted to do a studio tour at Paramount Pictures. On their website it states that the person getting the tour has to be 10 years older or above. Since we are visiting here we don't have anyone to leave the baby. So I called their guest service and they said the baby is allowed only if you carry him in a baby carrier. We got the tickets the day before thinking that we will carry out baby in the carrier and take the tour. But the next day when we went there for the tour it was total surprise! They gave us badges and called inside. We were getting ready and putting our baby inside the carrier. Then they called us back outside
saying the baby is not allowed in the tour. if we want to take him we have to pay the FULL PRICE. But it was never mentioned to me when I called. What a SHAME! They want to make money out of a 9 months old baby! Wow!! It felt so disrespectful to be called out because we have a baby!! We cancelled our tour right away. But we will never forget this. The way they treated us it was really unacceptable. Paramount pictures, such a Big name with such a nasty money making business! SHAME!

Had a huge blast at the VIP tour! Our tour guide Taylor was very friendly and knowledgeable! I really enjoyed the complimentary champagne and small lunch, chatting with the others in the tour group, being able to hold props and try on extras' costumes. Definitely worth the price!
