I have nothing but good things to say about this school. It is a difficult, yet structured school and if a student does the work and puts in the proper time to study, they should pass. It is a commitment, it may take time, but the way the program is structured works for the the working individual or even students who do not have to work.

Don't waste your time attempting to transfer. I promise you will seriously regret their lack of professionalism, cost, wasted time and effort, amongst other things.

I am a 2L in the JD program. It is affordable, manageable with my busy schedule, and worth every cent because I do not need to take time off work. I can still travel and support my family without putting school on hold. I could not have done this if I went to a typical brick and mortar school, which is why I specifically chose ALU. Not to mention it is in Los Angeles so I can attend class in person when time permits.
I am a 2L in the JD program. It is affordable, manageable with my busy schedule, and worth every cent because I do not need to take time off work. Being an attorney has always been my life goal. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, I could not take the traditional route. If it was not for ALU and its student-centered program, I would not have been able to even afford law school let alone become an attorney. It is a great program and I recommend it to anyone wanting to be an attorney, yet who cannot go to a traditional brick and mortar law school.

I am proud to be an alumna of ALU. It really is one of the best online programs out there. Technology is easy to use and if there were ever issues I had direct contact with the tech department. Professors were all practicing attorneys, enthusiastic about this program, and great at what they do. Most importantly, the student body was comprised of students from different backgrounds, age groups, and experiences. We all had something to contribute because we are all working adults, as opposed to full time students.
If you are interested in getting an law degree, but cannot afford to take out a loan or any time off of work, do consider ALU. They can even put you in contact with current students if you would like a better perspective on it.
