Out of everyone I have spoken to about rentals in LA, Michelle from Baxter 5 was hands down the most helpful! Not only is she helpful, but she is HONEST and will cater to your needs while helping you find the place that best suits you. Thanks again Michelle!

Thank you Michelle for a wonderful stay. We’d rented our house out while we were on an extended vacation and came back early so needed a place to stay. We considered Downtown LA, which is nearby, but then remembered your vacation rental right in our neighborhood. I’m happy we stayed with you. Downtown LA has many grand hotels, but none could compare to the rest and quiet of your romantic little cottage: the Maple. The condo is Melrose style with two patios. I especially loved the herb garden – great for preparing meals.

Great experience. The owner was super helpful and accommodating. And, the place was clean and had everything you needed. Definitely recommend.

There aren’t any 4 or 5 star hotels in our area. Echo Park and Silver Lake use to be slums. Both made their comeback in the extreme, so there’s a lot of nice shops and restaurants here now, just no good hotels. Use to be, if you wanted to put your family in a luxury hotel, you had to place them Downtown Los Angeles at the Millennium Biltmore or Westin Bonaventure.
Downtowns okay, only 2 miles away but you just can’t beat placing your parents at a place you can walk to. To be honest when michelle started renting out her housing short term; given her location, I would have been happy with a shoe box. But seriously, her rentals are really nice. It’s obvious her goal is to make her guests feel pampered. The gardens are interwoven with herbs. All the units have furnished patios and parking and the apartments themselves are beautiful. My mom has stayed in I think all of them now. They’re all sweet spaces – open and comfortable.
