so far not impressed...my family and I had driven from Indy as my mom was being transferred from Cumberland county ky to here for an emergency surgery. We showed up before she arrives at U of L hospital 1am all hotels nearby are booked because of concert. We found one further away and they offered hospital rate. Alhough they know she is on the way the staff refuse to write a note for proof until my mom is in surgery which right now the time is 1 am ...we been on the road since 930 pm, and surgery who knows the time 3..4...5...6. so we sit in emergency room due to trying a save money each day we are here. Generally a bit of courtesy goes a long way for those who are already stress, tired and far from home. Now I'm worried how my mom's surgery will go since this is not a simple surgery for stomach aneurysm.

I am a graduate student at UL and it has been a great experience. I did not do my undergrad here, but I have had nothing but good with the MBA program. They are attentive to the students, and are working to improve the overall MBA experience. I recommend UL graduate school to anyone who is looking for an advanced degree.

Very helpful, though they need to work on parking. I had a hard time getting registered and such. I also got a ticket, though I was there to get the parking pass.

Like any place you've got a lot of people who hate their job. This is a very large money grubbing institution, lots of facility aren't used well and departments don't like to help other departments.

Pros: You do have some great professors. Some higher ups aren't complete idiots and blood suckers. Some great people go here you can meet some great people too. Has the bachelor and masters accreditation for lots of majors. What can I say it's another college that wants your money so they'll do what they can to get it. Meaning just satisfy you just enough.

Cons: IT here stinks most of the time. Parking people really seem to hate their jobs, don't expect any sympathy. Parking is a monopoly of course. As for professors, you've got a variety some of which you don't want to ever owe favors to. Don't leave your stuff laying around.
facilities are out of date and the ones the aren't, aren't being used well.
The U of L area isn't what you would call safe. Tuition went up.
Ever heard "I've got my 10 years so I'm good?" enough said.
Things break all the time. Just look it up.
