I love this store and walk/shop here alone at least once a week. I've never run into panhandlers and have never felt threatened in any way.
The other reviews are unnecessarily harsh. This is a great store with friendly, helpful employees.

That 5 star was entered incorrectly! DO NOT go there alone! I think even the employees are afraid. They work there b/c they need a job to take care of their families and it's close to home. This is sometimes reflected in their lackluster attitude, and I don't hold that against them. Why should they care what the store looks like? I'm sure they are more worried about making it home safely. Rite Aid needs to do something about the panhandlers. Maybe people would not be afraid to shop there

This place always has several people outside (mostly men) begging for money, the only security they have is inside to keep people from shoplifting. Very, very uncomfortable.
