We went here Sunday night for my birthday & it was delicious!! The steak & BBQ stuffed shrimp are delicious!! It is noisy when busy but food is amazing! Our service was great too!

I'll admit that I'm a large man and having to sit at a booth is uncomfortable. What I appreciate about Saltgrass is table seating. The 12 oz Pat' s rib-eye is perfect. I wish I could eat the 16 oz, but with a starter, salad and side; it's just too much meat. The cook cooks the rib-eye perfect, to order. The atmosphere is classy, yet relaxed at the same time. Saltgrass really is my favorite steak house in Lubbock.

My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken and I ordered the fried shrimp. He said his was good but my shirt were either frozen then baked not fried or cooked a day or two before and therefore old. The breeding was not crispy at all compared to his breading on the chicken fried chicken. The shrimp tasted like rubber. Service was good though.

I like the atmosphere here a lot, very Texan if that's what you are looking for. They offer complementary bread which is pretty good. I had the brisket burger here, which is a burger party topped with brisket and BBQ sauce. The brisket wasn't as authentic as if you ordered it at a local BBQ establishment but that's to be expected at a chain restaurant. Not too many complaints about the restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. I would recommend going here for a quick bite if you are in town.

Quite a good place to grab a meal. The Texas tea is phenomenal. I tried the prime rib and it was very good and cooked very well. The bread was delicious and I was very happy with the service. Very nice place. Definitely worth it. I was able to get in with little to no waiting around lunch. Very clean restaurant and there was a manager making rounds and keeping things going smoothly.
